Sneak Peek: "Little C"

I had such a fun time photographing this little guy! Three year old "Little C" and his family just moved here from Georgia a few months ago complete with his adorable Southern accent and all. You gotta love hearing "Yes, ma'am." and "Thank you, Miss Amy!". Too cute!

He was so happy to show me his room and pose for photos...until his mom came around! As soon as his mom was near by, "C" decided he wanted nothing to do with getting his picture taken so it got a little more challenging but with some creativity, a few white lies, and a LOT of bribery we were able to get a bunch of great shots! (Don't you hate it when my camera *doesn't take that picture* and we *have to take it again*!?) ;-)

I look forward to seeing you guys again in the Fall! Here you go, "Little C"...

Sneak Peek: "Baby R"

I had a great time hanging out and playing with "Baby R" on Friday! This was my third session with "Baby R" and it's amazing to me how much she has grown up. We finally had some good weather so we were able to go outside for her session...which was a nice change of pace. "R" was happy to show off her new skills of clapping, standing (with a little help), and posing for the camera! I can't wait until our next session for her one year photos!

Sneak Peek: "Twins- Baby J & J"

Introducing 3 week old twins, brother and sister "Baby J & J". I am so excited to post these sneak peeks from "Baby J & J"'s session last week! I had photographed Mom's maternity photos in the beginning of March so I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of these little ones. I haven't done a twin newborn session so I had a ton of new ideas to try out. We got lucky and were able to get some of them both asleep and cuddly before they took turns being fussy and hungry. I don't know how Moms of twins ever get a break! I had such a good time shooting with these little ones. I can't wait to watch these little ones grow up over the next year! Here's your sneak peek, little ones...

Sneak Peek: "Baby A"

I had such a fun session with "Baby A" this weekend at the Franklin Park Conservatory. The weather was pretty yucky outside but "A" had a blast inside anyway. Some of you long time clients may remember "A" last year. One of her 6 month photos was on my Christmas card last year! She is always my star client and can't stop posing the whole time. We managed to get quite a few adorable smiles out of her this time as well.

I feel so bad for "Baby A" though, because the day after our session, she was taken to the Emergency room with an ear infection and pink eye. Could it be the result of "A" playing in the fountain of stagnant water and licking her hands constantly? I hope not...but the photos of it did turn out great! ;-)

Here is one of her from her six month session for comparison:

And here are the sneak peeks from her one year session:

Sneak Peek: "Baby B"

It's time for another sneak peek from this weekend. Despite the dreary weather and complete lack of light, we managed to get some great shots of "Baby B" on Saturday afternoon. He was such a good little model with his adorable little grin. He wasn't in a super smiley mood but he was posing every time the camera came near him. Too cute!

Sneak Peek: "Baby C, Little K, and Mister E"

I am so excited to share these sneak peeks with everyone. It was my first nice outdoor session in a while so it was so nice to feel the sun on my back again while shooting!(I am now burnt from said sun on my back but that's another story!)

I definitely had my work cut out for me on this session. "Little K" was so shy and timid that we spent the first hour just trying to get her to stop crying. I felt so bad for her (and her mom)! "Baby C" and "Mister E" got some one on one time while "K" was warming up to the idea. I had done a session with "C" back in December when he was a newborn so it was so exciting to see how much he had changed. I think these Moms will be quite surprised with the results we ended up with. After a lot of coaxing and bribery (what new doll did you end up picking, "K"?), we managed to get a smile or two out of her and a few great ones of all three together! Here you go, kiddos!
