This was "Little C"'s third and final session in the Milestone's Package and I couldn't believe how much he had grown up since the last time I saw him! I know, I know...that's what kids do, but when you only see them every few months and then see those images over and over again, that's what you remember of the kid so I am still remembering him as this little guy who was barely sitting up! So not the case, now! I had a hard time keeping up with "C" this time! He was all over the place...showing me his toy lawn mower, trucks, trains, stuffed dogs...you name it! Such a fun shoot! Hope to see you guys again in a few months!

This little cutie wins the award for the most alert, awake, and generally wiggly newborn that I have photographed in awhile. "Baby M" is just 2 weeks old for her newborn session and yet, even with all my tricks, I could NOT get her to fall asleep! I am thinking it must be a genetic thing because her older brother "C" didn't sleep at all for his newborn session, either! "C" wasn't all that excited to get in front of the camera for some family photos (when there are way more fun things to do, who can blame him?) but with a little bribery and a lot of funny sounds and faces, we got a few with the whole family before "M" decided her day as a diva was over and she was done with me. :-)
This last photo has a special place in my heart because we got a shot similar to this of older brother "C" when he was just a newborn (only with a blue blanket, of course!). Could they look anymore alike?!?

Four month old "Baby C" came into the studio for his first session in the Milestones package this week and couldn't have been any cuter! Seriously, he is like a little baby model! Mom and Dad brought along this adorable little sweater to include in the session. I just love when people bring personal items with them to the studio! It just helps to make the session even more personal. :-) "Baby C" was like a stone wall when it came to those smiles. He was happy to be here...just not so happy to show off his smile! Maybe next time...

This little one is the most adorable little thing! Seriously...she could be a little Gerber baby with those cheeks! I have been photographing "Baby M" since she was still in Mommy's tummy, so it has been so much fun to watch her grow up over the past year. Her older sisters didn't join us for this one (they are doing family photos at one of our mini-sessions), so this was all about "M" and she loved the attention! "M" was a little timid at first and HATED her birthday cake, but other than that, she was so cute! (Seriously...I have never seen a baby scream so much about a cake!) Can't wait to see the whole clan in a few weeks!
Okay, I have to say that this was possibly the most fun I have had on a family session in a long time! I seriously did not stop laughing from the first click to the last! "The K Family" are good family friends of ours so it was more like hanging out with your good friends while doing what you love...how could you go wrong? This session was done completely on their property at their house which just makes me so jealous! Maybe I should borrow their backyard for my own family photos this year? So amazing!! Thanks so much for having us over and allowing me to document your cute little family! Love you guys!
I met up with "The R Boys" at their home in Sunbury, Ohio for a newborn shoot with "Baby A" and a few shots with "Little N" for his 2 year photos. "Baby A" did such a great job and seems to be an excellent newborn baby. "Little N" is a bundle of energy who gave me a run for my money but once we started jumping on the bed and doing soumersaults, we were all full of smiles! Too much fun!
